How is Seattle? I’m thinking of moving there. I’m from The Cities.
I loved Seattle, but a lot of people who have cars hate it. I don’t drive, and I lived right near the city center, so I just walked and took the bus everywhere.
On the plus side, there is a fantastic library, most of the people I met are nice, and the weather is great compared to Minnesota.
On the minus side, the job market can be a bit tough and the cost of living is pretty high. I ended up with a lot of debt after living there because I had to resort to credit cards to pay for food and basic things, and my rent kept going up. Which is why I moved back to Duluth for a while before I got married.
But overall, if I didn’t have things to consider like family and money and all that crap, I’d go back to Seattle in a heartbeat. I miss Seattle a lot more than I miss Duluth.
