If you give financial support to an institution that is propagating a hateful philosophy, you are, in fact, contributing to the problem whether you agree with the philosophy or not.
This this this a million times over. Please stop passively disagreeing while giving money to places that use it for evil. Well, everything except that Catholic is spelled wrong once up there…
Oh, so that’s ALL progressive Christians, is it? I am a Christian, and I haven’t set foot in a church in several years because of this issue, among others. I refuse to support a corporatized institution that bears little to no resemblance to what Jesus would have wanted.
Also, there are plenty of Christians who DO try to change things within their churches. Or they leave and find or form other churches. How do you think the Protestant Reformation happened?
