i don’t understand why americans pronounce caramel like carmel you can’t just miss out a letter because you feel like it the a is not silent ok
Oh, is that so, Britain? How do you pronounce Worcestershire? Because every British person I know pronounces it “Wooster”. And why is Cockburn Street in Edinburgh pronounced “Coburn”. Don’t you lecture me about missing out letters when a quarter of the letters in every British place name aren’t pronounced.
